Acceptance of Terms

By using TallyUp Finance ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who We Are

TallyUp Finance is owned and operated by Stillwater Technology Group LLC, a Montana limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

TallyUp Finance is a personal finance tracking tool that helps you manually track your finances using a Google Sheets-backed dashboard. The Service is available in both a free tier and a paid Pro tier.

Your Account

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use TallyUp Finance.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Your Data

Your financial data is stored in a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive.
You retain full ownership and control of your data at all times.
You can delete your spreadsheet from Google Drive at any time. Your financial data exists only in that spreadsheet, so deleting it permanently erases that data. We do not keep a copy and cannot recover it. The next time you open TallyUp Finance after the spreadsheet is permanently deleted, it will create a new, empty spreadsheet for your account. A spreadsheet that is only in your Drive trash may continue to be used until the trash is emptied.
We are not responsible for data loss resulting from actions taken in your Google Drive.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service or its APIs, other than through the TallyUp Finance app itself.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties, including Google (sign-in and Google Sheets), Stripe (payments), and market data providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or actions. Market prices and returns shown in the Service may be delayed or inaccurate.

Pro Purchase

TallyUp Finance offers a free tier with limited features and a paid Pro tier with additional capabilities.
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You pay once and are not billed again.
A Pro purchase gives your account access to Pro features for as long as TallyUp Finance operates the Service. It is tied to your account and is not transferable.
Prices are displayed at the time of purchase. We may change the price of Pro for future purchases; this does not affect purchases already made.
Pro is currently available to customers in the United States only.
Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout and added to the displayed price where required.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. TallyUp Finance does not store your payment card details.

Refund Policy

If Pro is not right for you, contact us at support@tallyup.finance within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
When a refund is issued, your account returns to the free tier. Any data exceeding free tier limits remains in your Google Sheet but will not be displayed in the dashboard.
After 30 days, purchases are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Deleting your account ends Pro access for that account. Deletion does not by itself issue a refund; to request one within the refund window, contact us before deleting your account.
A Pro purchase does not carry over to a new account. If you sign up again after deleting your account, your new account starts on the free tier.
Account deletion removes your profile and authentication credentials from our systems. Your Google Sheet will remain in your Google Drive and is not affected.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law. If we terminate your account without cause while you have Pro, we will refund your Pro purchase. Your Google Sheet remains in your Google Drive regardless.

Disclaimer

TallyUp Finance is not a financial advisor. The Service is a tracking and visualization tool only. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations, prices, or projections it displays are accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or savings, arising from your use of the Service, including financial decisions made based on information displayed or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro, or $50 if you have not purchased Pro.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stillwater Technology Group LLC and its owners and contractors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Flathead County, Montana, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Service Changes

TallyUp Finance is actively evolving. Features may be added, modified, or removed as we improve the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
